OPIUM SMOKERS FINED.
DUNEDIN, June 29
At the Police Court to-day, a Chinaman named Ah Kern was charged with being in possession of opium in a. form suitable for smoking, and. Ah Wee was charged with smoking opium, being caught in the act afKem's place. Kern. who is a lodsing-house keeper, was fined £30, and Wee £2.
