GERMANS IN NEW ZEALAND.
TO TIIK JEMTOa
Sir, —I hi'ive read several letters in your paper lately about the population of Germans in Now Zealand. I am an Englishman, nnd it wouid not matter to me if I lived in Germany four, 40, or 400 years—my sympathy would be with England, the country where I was born and my parents before me. I remember reading in the English Press quite recently of a chocolate factory in Glasgow being raided. It contained other things besides chocolates — ammunition and concrete foundations suitable for big guns. The man who owned the chocolate factory was a German who had lived in Glasgow over 40 years. DISGUSTED.
