GLASS AND ASPHALT WORKERS ON STRIKE. ,

(Received June, 1, 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 1. The Red Cross Flower Day collections realised £1700, which will be devoted to purchasing comforts for the Dardanelles invalids. As a result of the employment of a number of Germans, 600 employees at the Sydney and Waterloo Glass Works struck. The Germans are expert blowers, mostly naturalised, and have been in the employ of the companies for years.
