SUGGESTION TO THE CABINET

LONDON, May 6

Mr Asquitli, replying.to a deputation of members of the House of Commons, promised to submit to the Cabinet a suggestion that the Government should erect'a: special pavilion at the Panama Exhibition, which would be a rallying point for Britons from all parts of the Empire. He said that Cabinet was likely to consent as it would not commit the Government to much expenditure. He. deprecated the suggestion that refusal to participate in the Exhibition was a slight on the "United States.
