Many,of the incidental spectacles are described as being very fine indeed. .These.- include the Temple of Isis, the luxurious baths of Pompeii, the Egyptian priests in conflict with the Early Christians, and the burial of Pompeii in 79 A.D. The.reproduction of .this last historic happening is said to ' bo marvellously well done, and has been described as "the most' realistic achievement of kinematography." Owing the great demand for this picture in other parts of the. Dominion, the management regrets that only tlireo presentations can be given in Ashburton, namely to-night, to-morrow night, and Saturday afternoon.
