OWING'TO SHORTAGE OF OIL.

Unconfirmed reports are current that there will be no naval manoeuvres owing to shortage of oil fuel. The "Pall Mall Gazette" states | that Mr Churchill has . secured the minimum for his building programme, ancl concessions in other directions, and the Admiralty is building up reserves of oil.
