At the Supreme Court the re-trial of Samuel Thomson, charged with talcing part in a riot on Waterloo Quay on October 30, resulted in his acquittal.
Robert Hill v/s»s retried on a charge of taking part in the Taranaki Street riot on November 4. The jury dis^agreed and a new trial was ordered for the May sessions, Hill being allowed 1 bail. * '
