Mr Denham, Premier of Queensland, in an intei-view, said there was'-nothing to warrant the thought tha^^ni.erican' meat combines were attempting to capture the Australian meat trade. Queensland would not tolerate any interference with her interests.' Mr 'Denham did not credit a suggestion that the Trust had raised prices. He said that the increased prices were due to the increased number of consumers and the diversion of Australasian shipments to America and the Continent. , v
