PRICES FULLY MAINTAINED
(Received November 27, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, November 26. At the wool sales tb,ere was good allround competition, and prices were fully maintained at opening rates.
WELLINGTON, November 2G. The Department of Agriculture has received -the following cable message from the High,. Comimssioner, dated London, November 25, regarding the opening of the sixth series of colonial wool sales:— ''The wool sales have commenced. Home and Continental dealers are buy-' ing freely, but the American buyers are holding off. Prices of superior merino are' unchanged, but all other wools , average a halfpenny lower than last ' sale. About 40,000 bales of Now Zealand wool have been catalogued."
