A DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.
AUCKLAND, November 25
Some timo this : afternoon burglars entered the- premises of Mr F. S. Ballin, Carlton Gore" Road, and stole £40 in gold. The occupants of the . houso, with the exception of a domestic, were away. When another domestic returned sho found the place had been ransacked, drawers opened and all the silver piled on the dining-room table in readiness for removal. Two £10 notes were found on the floor, evidently overlooked. The. servant, sitting in the kitchen, heard nothing, apparently owing to the noise of the storm which prevailed at the time.
