Enforcing distraint for the non-pay-ment of taxes, a bailiff and some policemen used a battering-ram to enter a large residence occupied by Mrs Harvey, a leading suffragette, at Bromley, in Kent. Along with Mrs Despard, she was, besieged for two hours. : :
