There was an amusing incident at Bromley, Kent, when a. pedlar was charged with theft from a house. Among the stolen property was a double set of false teeth. As the man was remanded for a week their owner (a woman) found herself in a difficulty, al/ stolen property having to remain witli the police until the case is completed. The magistrates, however, granted her the loan of her own teeth tor a week on the understanding that sne produced them when the man came up on remand
