TIMARU-CHRISTCHTJRCH ROAD
RACE.
Close upon 100 entries have been received for the Timaru-Christchurch road race which is to be held on October 25. The entrants include two of Australia's most prominent road riders and representatives from practically al/ parts of th© Dominion. It is anticipated that the limit men will be despatched about nine o'clock, and that under normal conditions the post should be reached at about 3.30. The race will finish on the Canterbury Park Trotting Club's grounds at Sockburn. During the afternoon several competitions, including motor and cycle racing events, will be held on tht course.
