STRIKE OF SLAUGHTERMEN.
A hundred and fifty mutton butchers on Glebe Island have struck against the speeding-up provision in the recently issued award. In consequence the bulk of the sheep at to-day's sales were withdrawn. A shortage of mutton is threatened.
