MAIL NOTICES.

Mails close daily at the Ashburton Post Office as follows: —

6 a.m.—South as far as Timaru. 6.50 a.m.—Cherfcsey, Rakaia and dhristchurch. \ 9.10 a.m.—All Southern Offices (except Hinds). 10.45 a.m.—Fairton, Eakaia and Christchurch and Hinds.

1.20 p.m.—Hinds, \ Geraldine, Temuka, Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin. 2.55 p.m.—Cherteey, llakaia, Methven line, and Christchurch; also Wellington on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 3.10 p.m.—Dromore, Dunsandel, and Burnham.

3.20 p.m.—Tinwald, Winslow, Hinds, and Timaru.

5.20 p.m.—Ghristehurch; also Wet lington on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. ; Late fee mail closes ten minutes after ordinary mail.
