According to tho secretary of tho Wellington education Board," there is not a surplusage oi applicants for the position of instructress m domestic economy under xlie Board, which is offering ,a- salary of .£2OO and £50 travelling expenses. Inspector J S Tennant, who is at present at Homei was entrusted with the responsibility of making a selection. On Tuesday it was intimated that word-— not finalhad been received from Mr Tennant. So far, ho said there had been no killing competition for the position at the salary offered.
