Mr Thomas Leech, who has had many years' experience as a farmer in Canterbury, says a London correspondent, has been over in England in search.of health for some months, arriving here via Canada. Regarding what he. saw of that country and its fanning:, Mr Leech says he was somewhat disappointed, though there is no doubt, that Canada is an admirable grain-producing land. His criticism of English farming, is that there are; great quantities of land lying idle that should give employment to thousands and keep them on the land where they should Be.
