Canterbury Handicap.—Medallion 1, Miss Florrie C. 2, Viewmont 3. ' Won by two lengths. Time, 4min 42secs.

SYDNEY, August 11. At the horse sales to-day Mr Tubman, of New Zealand, purchased tiio Ribbonwood—-Zealot trotting gelding tor 40 guineas.
