CHmSIXMTIRCH, August,l2. The weather is glorious for the concluding day of i^he-.Grand National meeting, and there is a large., attendance. Uesults:—-
Hunt Club Steeplechase — Silver Blaze 1, Glenmore 2, Oakley 3. Scr— Lagmhor and Flamingo. Won by four lengths. Time—omins 9 l-ssecs.
Heathcotc Handicap—Effort 1, Sea King 2, Iney 3. All started. Sea King just failed to win all the way, being beaten by a head, Iney a neck away. Time— lmin 30 4-ssecs.
Styx Hurdles—Cardiff 1, Passive 2, Gaelic 3. Scr—Hawick,, Canterbury, Simon: Pure, •'and Mercedo. 'A 'iine finish. Cardiff won by a neck; a Jhead dividing; the second and third. 4 Time—? Sinins'3. 2-&S6CS. . ■ Sydenham Hurdles-MVindage 1, Espartcro 2, Compass 3. Scr—Hoanga, Continuance and Windage were prominent till entering the straight, when the top weight failed in the final straggle,. Windage winning by "two lengths the same distance between the ■second 'and third horses'. Time—3min. 17 l-ssecs. Lincoln Steeplechase—Sir Lethe 1, D'orando 2, Winiata 3. Scr—Hoaaga. Won by two hundred yards, Wimata being ■ fifty- yards further behind. Ribstone Pippin was-the only other tofinish. Time—smins 48 l-ssecs.
