A Christ-church telegram states thai Harry Cooke, the son of Fred Cooke, the Socialist who lately served a term of imprisonment rather than pay a fin© for breach of a by-law, has follow ed in his father's footsteps. Young Cooke, who was fined for refusing 'to register under the Defence Act, refused to pay the fine, and has been sen* to fcerve his sentence in Timaru.
