Beaufort Steeplecha.se— Captain -Jingle 1, Sir Lethe 2, Antarctic 3. Scr— Liberty. Most of the running was made f by Hoanga. and Sir Lethe. The* former fell: at the last fence.- Captain Jingle just got up, and won by a' length, Antarctic forty- yards away, Lagmhor and Gunner next. Time—s mm 0 l-ssecs.
Spreydon Hack Hurdles—Gaelic 1, Hawick'2, Gold Pin. 3. Scr—Wirral, Doggerbank and Simon Pure. Won easily by four lengths, a-head dividing the second and third.* Time— 3min 21 2-ssecs.
