DUNEDIN, December 15. Wheat. —A moderate• demand is experienced for prime Velvet, and red wheat, but the quantity offering is limited. A few sales of Tuscan are being effected without any improvement m price. Prime milling Velvet is qu6ted at 4s 5d to 4s 6d, Tuscan 4s 4d to 4s sd, medium to good 4s Id to 4s 3d and best whole fowl wheat 3s lid.to 4s. Oats are m fair demand at late rates, and the few coming to hand are readily placed, but buyers, seeing no indications of a coming rise,, are not m the mood to exceed quotations, which are: Prime milling Is 9d to Is lOd, best bright short feed Is 8d to Is 9d, medium Is 6d to Is 7id and inferior Is 3d to Is sd.
