SIR JOSEPH WARD'S RETURN.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 29. The Hon. J. Carrollj Acting-Prime Minister, received the following message by wireless telegraphy this morning : "H.M.S. Challenger, at sea,—We are six hundred miles from Auckland; and all well. The weather is fine, and we expect to arrive at Auckland at noon on Thursday.— Joseph Ward."
FEILDING, September 29. The Feilding Chamber of Commerce has decided to ask Mr John Cbbbe, a member of the Chamber at present m Auckland, to represent it at the public reception to the Premier on Thursday.
