PAPAROA COAL COMPANY.
WELLINGTON, June 23. At the annual meeting of the Paparoa Coal Company to-day Mr J. P. Maxwell, chairman, said that the company was ready to put down coal, and would commence to do so as soon as the Government railway was able to carry its coal. The seams were of great thickness and of uniform fine quality, remarkably free from impurities. The report was adopted. Messrs J. Duncan and H. F. Forbes were re-elected directors.
