Beef—The market is quiet and stocks of New Zealand beeff'on hand are light; New Zealand hindquarters 4Jd, forequarters 2|cl. ]'; Butter.—The market is qiiiet but firm, with a very limited supply of New, Zealand butter;* New Zealand;,'choicest 100s, Australian 100s, Danish! Ills, Siberian 1003. • Cocksfoot. —The seed market is very quiet, with nothing doing, SO the quotations cannot be given during the present condition of the market. Wheat, Grain aild Pulse.—The.market, is firm, but only moderate } New Zealand long-berried wheat on spot, ex granary, pci' quarter of 4961b, 46s 6d ; ' New Zealand sliori4tarried .wheat, 45s 6d.
