THE SCENERY OF WESTLAND.
Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, June 22. Mr S. H. Moreton, a. well-known Canterbury artist, in writing to the Tourist Association, suggesting art competitions in painting as a means of advertising the landscape and scenery of the district, stated that it i was well known to all but the most prejudiced that the finest scenery ofNew Zealand is to be found in Westland.
