Millers f are still holding off the market, while sales to the English market are rendered more difficult owing to the weaker state of the London market. -Merchants have been very busy, on the other hand, in making deliveries ,of grain for shipment, covering sales', of some weeks back, and the "traffici has been increased to such an extent that; the shortage of trucks has again been felt, and delay in loading out has been reported in several instances, There is no alteration in. valiUea : Tuscan and Pearl, 4s Id to 4s 2d, Huflters, 3s lid to 45.. . . . ... -• >'; Oats —There has been a limited inquiry for oats for shipping, purposes, but merchants very quickly covered their .orders, and again, left the market stagnate, there being very little local and coastal trade to speak of. Sales have been reported for shipment to London at prices, which show a decline of at least Id a bushel in many cases, and it now appears' as if the market would not further recover! this season without something • unforeseen occurs, to-day's values being : "A" grade Gartons Is 6d to .Is 6£d, "B" grade Is s£d to Is 6d, Duns Is 5d to Is s£d, Danish Is 4d. Oatsheaf Chaff —Very little business has been reported, 42s 6d still being the best price obtainable for prime quality.
