RE-ARRANGEMENT OF PORTFOLIOS.
The Premier stated to-night that I during his absence 1 the Hon. James Carroll will be Acting-Premier, and will administer, m addition to his present departments, tho Government Insurance and Public Trust Offices. The Hon. J. A-. ,Millar, m addition to his' present departments, will be Acting-Minister of Finance, and will also hold • the portfolio of Labour, as well as having the administration ■ of the Government Printing Office. The Hon. George Fowlds takes the portfolio of Minister of Customs, and will be Acting-Minister of Defence. The Hon. Dr. Findlay will be Acting-Postmaster-General and Minister of Telegraphs. The Hon. D. Buddo will be ActingMinister of Lands, and will also administer the Land -for Settlement Act. The Hon. R. McKenzie will be Minister m charge of Roads and Bridges.
