DUNEDIN, June 17. . At a meeting of the Education Board to-day, the question of free school book came up for discussion.. After considering reports by Mr Petrie, chief inspector at Auckland, and Mr Goyen,. chief inspector m Otago, the Board decided to endorse the opinion expressed 1 by the Auckland Board, and intimated' its readiness to co-operate with that Board m. making representations toi the Minister.
