COMPULSORY MILITARY TRAINING.
Per Prees Aasociatioa. WELLINGTON, June 14. ; A meeting of 1 persons opposed to compulsory military training was held in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall to-night. About 800 persons were pre-* sent. Speakers were: Messrs D; Me-: Laren, M.P., W. T. Young, secretary of the Seamen's Union, j. O'Regan and. Robert Hogg^ Socialist organiser, A re- 1 solution against compulsory training was carried by a large majority. There' was considerable interruption during' the evening, but on the whole the speakers had'a.fairly good hearing.
