The first flying machine to be imported into New Zealand is now on its way hero. It is being imported by Mr Taifc, tho theatrical manager, and will be exhibited at various places throughout the dominion. In the House of Representatives on Monday, Mr Rhodes gave notice to ask the Minister of Railways 'whether he would have a flying survey of the Little River-Akaroa railway made, as promised by his predecessor in office. The many friends of Mr John Gilmour in this county will regret to hoar of his death, which occurred at his residence, Greenstrect, yesterday. Terris; reading, E Bastion ; musical items, Miss Nellie Beech, Jessie Phaup, Willie Willers, Mr Vincent and company; address, Mr Brown.
