THE WEATHER.
Per Press Association. . , NELSON, June 14. Torrential rain accompanied with a heavy gale fell last night. Glass-houses and wzikJows were blown down; also three large pine trees opposite the post office, blocking Trafalgar street. The bell buoy broke away from its moorings and is stranded on Tahuna Sands. It is still raining. Mr Bates telegarphed to-day as follows: Westerly strong winds to a gale; the glass will fall.
