';' :In the cases in which Crawford, Healy and others were charged with ' ''• engaging in a x boxing contest forvwhich a permit had not been obtained, the .-Magistrate inflicted a fine of five shil--1 lmgs, remarking that the contest appeared to have been conducted in an orderly manner, and there was nothing ''objectionable except that the promoter -failed to obtain the necessary permit.
