The Ottawa correspondent of .the Times says that the Conference" has converted a' section- of the Canadian Press;. recently disposed to make 1 light of the prospects of war. The speeches of Lord Rosebery, Sir Edward Grey, arid others have created a profound^iP.pression. All the newspapers' miite in stating that- Canada must realise her responsibilities with respect to defence.
