SIXTH ANNUAL EXHIBITION.
SECOND DAY
Contrary to expectations the weather changed during last night, and this inortnrig broke overcast and -threatening./ Notwithstanding this fact,: however, large numbers of country people and-.other visitors from a distance arrived m town during the day, and the show, as the centre of attraction, was largely patronised. Had the day been bright overhead, the attendance would no doubt have been much larger, but all things considered, the Combined Committee has every reason to congratulate itself on the-success that has j attended the carrying out of its sixth J annual industrial exhibition. Should the weather prove at all favourable, the Committee may expect a record attendance at the show this evening. Full provision has been made for carrying out a good nrusical programme, m which the Temperance Brass Band and the County Scottish band will take. part.
