COLDSTREAM ROAD BOARD.
i An ordinary meeting of the Coldstream Road Board was held m the Board .room, Lowcliffe, on Thursday last. ■•' Present: Messrs M. G. Rich (chairman), W. Jewell and W. McKeage. It was decided, after discussion, to appoint some suitable person to take charge of the Hinds Cemeteiy, and,' for the benefit of the public, to advertise the appointment when made. A lease was granted to Mr H. Balnier of Reserve 1447 for a term of three years. | Mr W. McKeage gave notice to move at the next meeting of the Board, on July Bth, that a general rate of threesixteenths of a penny m the pound be struck on all the rateable property m the Coldstream road district for the period commencing on.April Ist, 1909, and ending on March 31, 1910. Sundry repairs were suggested to be | made on various roads by the .surfaceman.—The clerk was instructed to make a round of the roads m the disj trict and-to report at the next meeting of the. Board. Accounts amounting to £30 13s were passed for payment, and the Board adjourned. ' •.;■■■,...., .. . ......
