The. following is the. market report for the-week ending Friday, June 11th, 1909: . Wheat.—Although the local stores | have undergone a .very busy' week loading out grain for shipment, a few fresh sales, have been reported, and the bulk of the wheat m this county, can now claim to have been disposed of. In' the early part of the season, millers were heavy buyer's, and a gicat proportion of their requirements, _ must have been 'drawn from, this , district. Of laid, however, they have been unable to meet the competition of mer : chants for shipment, and grain now being delivered is almost invariably for shipment to the United Kingdom. Prices .remain..unchanged, but there is very little enquiry, export prices having receded, and millers still being m an unsettled state. Tuscan and Pearl 4s to 4s Id; Hunters, 3s lid to 4s. Oats. —Cable advice of a drop of Is a quarter on tire London market' has had a severe effect oh the local market. Merchants, who were buying ( for shipment, have dropped their prices Id,to l£d a bushel, while, on the other hand, the quality of oats now being delivered is not up to that required for shipment,.-in^a great many cases; the oats showing signs of being heated m the stack/ 0' To-day's quotations are "A" grade .Gartons Is 6d to Is 6£d, "B" grade lc os-d to Is 6d, Duns Is 5d to Is sid,- Danish Is sd. Oatsheaf Chaff.—-There is still very little enquiry, and prices remain unchanged; £2 to £2 5s on trucks, being values for prime quality. ■■
