Fur Preea Association. VvELLINGTON, June 10. Parliament was formally opened by] Commission at 11.30 this morning. THE SPEAKERSHIP. WELLINGTON, June 10. The House met at 11.45 a.m., and proceeded with the swearing-in of members. The Hon. T. Y. Duncan nominated Mr Guinness for the Speakership, and Mr Hanan seconded the motion: ' There were no other nominations, and Mr Guinness returned thanks and took the chair. Sir Joseph Ward and Mr Massey having congratulated him on his apjpointment, the Premier moved the adjournment till 3.30, to allow the Speaker to submit .himself to His Excellency the Governor for approval.
