' Favourable .weather conditions have prevailed for'the scullers during the 7)ast few days, and they have been lable to get some good rowing on the dhampionsnip course, which is admiribly sheltered and with, water almost as smooth as glass. Both the champion and ex-champion have been very busy. •On Tuesday afternoon Arnst and l\og<well had a big spurt. Webb and Whelch liad a lively spin over a couple of miles yesterday, the ex-champion rowing M strokes to the minute over just a mile and then dropping to 24 strokes. i
