Per Praw Association. WANGANUI, June 7. Interest is beginning to increase m connection with 'the sculling matches. Arnst, who was not too well on Friday when he rowed m a very lifeless style, had a spell on Saturday, but was afloat again yesterday, when he took things easily. This morning he reported himself, as feeling all right again. His weight this morning was 13 stone 41bs. Webb and Whelch were out yesterday morning, and came down the river at a j solid pace, both rowing well. This morning the ex-chamr>ion did another serviceable row with Whelch. |
