Per Pre6B: Association. :. , OAMARU, June 4. .' , The Oanmru Licensing Committee met to-day, when application for renewals were made iii respect of three hotels m the Hampde.u and Palmerston portions of the district. Counsel argued that the recent poll was invalid, because the electors had not. been given an opportunity to vote on' three important issues, but only as to whether licenses should or should not be restored, as m a No-license area. The committee unanimously refused all applications. % ;
