He declared he would be delighted to see the coun- ■ try and meet many of the gallant fellows who fought under him in-South Africa. He recognised the value of the Australian example of readiness' to accept universal military training," but * because England was not educatedsto this necessity he must remain at Home to continue "his efforts to urge on his , countrymen the Australian-example.
