BOMB OUTRAGES.
Per Press Association—Copyright. CALCUTTA, June 2. A sensation was caused by the High Court at Calcutta acquitting three Indians who were sentenced at Midnapore for conspiracy. During the original trial ■ the leading witnesses for the prosecution withdrew their depositions, and the charge against twenty-three was dropped, but' three were convicted. The High Court's judgment censures the police methods m the case, and a rigid enquiry has been opened. [A cable message from Calcutta dated February 3 reads: The authors of the Midnapore bomb outrage were sentenced to from seven to ten years' deportation.]
