SCARLATINA AT STEPHEN'S ISLAND.
Per Preiss Aaeociatioß. WELLINGTON, May 3. The Marine Department was advised to-day that the wife of. one of the lighthouse-keepers at Stephen's Island is suffering from scarlatina, and that some children are sickening- from it. Dr._ Pollen, Port Health Officer, and a trained nurse have been sent to the island.
