NO-LICENSE FIGURES.
As the attempts to upset the local option polls m the Hutt, Masterton and Ohinemuri electorates have failed, a list of those areas where No-license at present prevails, and where the new order will prevail after the 30th June next, may be of interest to a number of our readers. Existing No-license electorates: Ashburton, Clutha, Grey Lynn, Invereargill, Mataura, Oamaru. Additional No-license electorates after the 30th of June, 1909: Bruce, Eden, Masterton, Ohinemuri, Wellington South, Wellington Suburbs. According to figures published m the Vanguard, the total vote for the dominion was as follows: Number of valid voters, 416,637; Continuance, 189,241; Reduction, 162,759; No-license 223,466.
