AUCKLAND, February 27. A meeting of the executive and council of the Auckland Liberal and La-: hour Federation passed a resolution of regret at the resignation of the secretary, Mr T. Harle Giles, congratulating him on his appointment to the Conciliation Court and expressing deep regret at the unwarranted attack made upon a citizen so highly esteemed. :
