A local board in Blenheim owed £60 to a builder, who lives in an out-of-the-way place where there are no banks, and to suit his convenience sent him the £60 in hank notes in a registered letter.- The letter was lost by the wreck of the Penguin, and the question is. who is to bear the loss or the money. The post office is not liable for more than £2 when it loses a registered letter* .
