During the year just ended the Nottingham Guardiun.s made a profit of £312 from their workhouse farm. Over eighty tons of potatoes alone were grown. The poultry-keeping account showed a profit of over £11 on an outlay of £60, the liens laying over COOO oggs, which were all consumed m the workhouse infirmary. The Farm Committee charged the House Committee market prices for all produce consumed by the paupers.
