DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET.
DUNEDIN, February 24. Oats.—No new oats have yet been offered on this market, and, a s shippers decline to buy for forward delivery, little business is passing. Stocks of old oats are very low, but are quite sufficient to supply the local demand. Quotations are: Prime milling Is 6d, good to' best feed Is sid, inferior to medium Is 3d to Is 4Jd. Wheat.—So far there is little business to report m the new season's ! crops. Consignments of Canterbury wheat have been coining forward, but, being placed" m poor condition, are suitable only for fowl feed. TJie'markethas been bare of good whole fowl wheat, and these consignments have, m most cases, met with a fortunate sale at Jk to 4s 3d per bushel. Broken and damaged sells m small quantities at 3s to 3s 9d. Prime milling quality of new crop for delivery at short date is worth 3s 9d to 3s lOd, ex truck or at mill siding. ____™___™___
