DUNEDIN, February 25. The attendance at the Dunedin Jockey Club's races was. for an off day, satisfactory. The weather was glorious and the Yvingatui course was fast. Fourteen bookmakers were licensed. Results: Hurdles.—Northern Star 1, Leonardo 2, Snip ;i. Won by a length. Time, 3min 22 2-osee. Henley Hnck,— Effort 1, British Peer 2, Count Gorton 3. Scratched — Jessie Leuars, Liza and Eaglestone. Won by a short neck. Time, lmin 16 sec. City Handicap.—Scotch Plaid 1, Applegarth 2, Pedometer 3. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 3 3-osec. Dunedin Jockey Club's Handicap.— Rose.Noble 1, Iranui 2, Field Gun 3. Scratched: Adjudge. Won by half a length, three lengths dividing the second and third horses. Time—2min 9 4-Ssec, a record for' the course. Triiganini shows signs of soreness and has been scratched for all engagements.
